Ingredients

1 cup of flour

1 cup of rolled oats🍪

2 tbsp of of golden syrup

⅔  cup of desiccated coconut

2 tbsp of water

½ teaspoon of baking soda

125 grams of butter

 

Equipment

•  Microwave safe bowl
• Wooden spoon
• baking paper
•  measuring cups
• Baking tray
• oven

 

Instructions

• preheat the oven to 160° C
• Add the dry ingredients to the blow
• Melt the butter in the microwave
• Combine the wet and dry and mix it all together
• Grab a small amount of batter and shape it in a ball
• Put it in the oven and let it cook for 30 minutes
• after letting it cook take it out of the oven and enjoy eating your Anzac cookies 🍪🍪 by Talumeti.

As I stepped on the escalator I began to feel like I was under the deep ocean.As I looked around I could see the animals surrounding me.I began to move to see more animals.I could feel like I was already bonding with them.When we were done with the escalator I was Heartbroken as I saw a turtle that lost a arm.But turtle was so cute to lose arm.20 minutes passed by as I still watched the turtle.It was the best thing that I saw and I was in love with her.That was my favourite team about Kelly tarlton’s. So next time I come I will check to see if my friend was there.The turtle my love.🩷 

                                       

                                                   💦Polluted rubbish💦

  

I woke up in the middle of the woods to realize that I was in the middle of nowhere. I try to ask myself how I got to these ugly tall trees and why it was so hot.? I really liked that I was in the book I read yesterday and made a wish to be inside this book. As I looked up in the sky my eyes were parboiled like a hot frying pan. 

 

First I have to find a way to get out of this place. As I was taking a look around I came across a bit of water like the size of a whale. But it was bad. It had rubbish and oil and I was disappointed with how it looks

.As my toxic brain was trying to clean this ocean.

 

I had to start cleaning right away.And my mind was filled with sadness.

                                                      ❤️🌊Polluted Water Experiment🌊❤️

 

On a cloudy Monday Morning we did an experiment about polluted water and what it can cause to the fish habitat.It can make fish extinct and it can ruin their food source.Which can kill their health and body.

 

First, we had to get in groups of 4 or 5.Then we had to get a tray to do our experiment. In my group was Talia,Haneefa,Reachel and me we were a group of 4.In our tray we had materials like Instruction on a piece of paper,a small kind of rubbish like a leaf, backing oli used for cooking,scissors that we need to cut the small rubbish,water to put the things in that we have to try to clean and tissues to clean all the things that we a going to mix.

 

Next, we had to empty our tray to add the water. After filling the water in our tray we had to make sure the water was like half way in the tray.Then we had to go to a teacher to get some oil with our small cup. In our cup we were only allowed to only have a small amount of oil.Then we had to cut up the small rubbish that we had after cutting up the rubbish we have to mix it all together in the water. We started with the oil by pouring the oil in the water. It was so brown and dirty then we had to add the small rubbish in the water it was so… ew like ew.

 

Lastly it was the big thing we had to clean the water up using tissues had to grab more tissues for the cleaning water cues it would be almost impossible to clean this water.We had to use more than i think more than 29 tissues to clean the water 20 min past by and we only cleaned the rubbish and some of the oil in the water and it was not easy.We family understood how hard to clean the water just like how hard to keep the sea and any water that we have. It was the hardest job that we had to do so the whole point of this experiment was to not throw your rubbish anywhere because it would kill living things in the sea.

In my village we lived near volcanoes. The volcanoes were long, huge and massive.   My family and I were alongside the volcanoes. One night we heard rumbling and the ground shaking for an hour. In the morning, my family and I were packing to move out of the village.

 

First, we had to get ready, to pack the essentials. We were getting ready.  We heard a big  BLAST!!  coming from the top of the volcano. As we whent to check it out, we then saw black smoke coming out of the volcano. It was then we saw the black smoke. It was smoking hard out of the volcanoes and it was on the top of our eyes.

 

Next, we were getting our things in the car. We were in a big rush. We were getting our kit and things that we needed like water, walkie-talkie, map, food, shoes and more food.

 

After we were rushing to get the car, we saw the smoke spreading fast.  It was like a flash. As we started  driving,  the smoke was  killing half the village and it was so bad. It was worse than last time. 

 

I felt like my family was not going to make it. As I sat in the car the smoke was as black as  ash and crackling like fireworks in the sky. That was the last time I saw the village.

Volcano experiment

 

On Monday we did a mystery experiment about volcanoes.

 

First we had to get in groups of 5 or 6. My group was Nisi, Katalina,Sh-lee and Jen. After getting into a group we were given a tray and a teacher. My group and I had to plan something before building our volcanoes.🌋

 

Next, we had to use our materials that were inside our tray like a cup, measuring cup and a fork. We had to get the water and sand to build our volcanoes. After getting the water and sand, we started to find a place to work. After finding a place we used the sand and the measuring cup to make sure that the cup would fit.

 

After, we had to get baking soda, food colouring and vinegar. After getting things, we started to put things one by one. We started by putting the food colouring in the measuring cup. Then, we added the baking soda and then it was time for the big gun.

 

It was the vinegar time we had to count down to 3 then that when we pour the vinegar let’s start in 1 2 3!!  BOOM! As we poured the vinegar it was filled with foam and bubbles. It looked like clouds in the sky. I HAD A GOOD EXPERIMENT DOING VOLCANOES,AWESOME EXPERIMENT.

My culture is who I am. I am a fijian. I am proud to be called a fijian CI-Taukei. In my culture we respect each other and our elders. However my parents remind me to always honour and put God first in everything I do. In my Culture we live with an extended family. As a fijian we help one another. language helps us remember who we are and where we are from. This is our main meal at fiji. cassava,fish,dalo and row row.

The three superheroes are Tevita, Cath and Sarah. They are the ones who help me. Like cath she helps me with my learning when I don’t get the questions she helps me understand the problem. 

Then there’s Tevita. He loves teaching me sports in different ways.  For sports he was the one who taught me rugby and let me play with him .

Sarah has been the best teacher in our class. She is one of the funniest teachers and also the best .Because she is so kind and  when we are feeling down she always gives us a hug and that is what makes us happy. 

But there is also not only one who stands out the most there are some like Mr To,oala, Miss vanessa and Miss asinate .

As I was walking through Mt Roskill, I came across an old musty green door. It was full of holes and crusty dull glass panels. Next to the door is an old rusty stinky house attached to the door the hose is so smelly It smells like a dead rat. As much as  I stare at it, I could feel like it was  telling me to go inside of it.

It  was like someone was calling out for  help.  I was about to go, I heard it again but now it was  louder and louder, I could hear it behind my ear. Then I screamed, blood spread on to the window as I saw a dead face with a knife sticking out of the head. But now I could hear it say that you are next. Then I ran and ran until I could see my house.But as I ran, I could feel that he was following me.Then I tripped on a rock and fainted.

I was unconscious for awhile and i could not see anything. The room turned upside down and had goosebumps. I felt like someone was staring at me and almost pulled me I screamed and suddenly my mum was standing waking me up. I realized it was only a dream.
